A Note for UK & US Customers

US

As of August 29, 2025, the US government suspended the duty-free ‘de minimis’ treatment of incoming shipments valued at $800 or less. This means that items bought from outside the US may be subject to duty, chargeable via US customs. It is therefore vital that you provide an up-to-date email address through which US customs can contact you. By default, Corbel Stone Press will pass on the email address attached to your Paypal receipt. If you do not monitor this email address, please contact us to provide an alternate.

According to Bandcamp, music media (vinyl, CD, cassettes) and many types of printed media, such as books and magazines, are exempt from US tariffs, however it’s not clear if other kinds of import charges may apply.

We will notify you if a parcel is returned to us. In order for Corbel Stone Press to resend the parcel, you’ll need to pay the additional repeat shipping cost. Alternatively, we can refund your original order, less the amount already paid in shipping. By making a purchase via this website, you agree to these terms.

UK

As of July 1st 2021, all parcels going from the EU to the UK are subject to VAT, which must be charged at the point of sale. As Corbel Stone Press is based in Ireland, we need to collect VAT on certain purchases via this website. Thankfully, books are zero-rated for VAT, so there will be no additional charges for these items. However, CDs, vinyl, cassettes, etc, are rated at 20%. If you 'check out' in full via this website, any additional charges will be displayed before your purchase. If you click the 'Paypal' checkout, the total amount payable is displayed. You'll need to click on this total amount to see if any VAT has been applied.
