The Solstitial incense is a blend of twelve primary ingredients: four resins, four dried plants and four essential oils, including Frankincense, Gentian root, Mistletoe and Juniper.
The delicate colour-fields comprise infusions (from between 4 to 12 hours) of four plants native to Britain and Ireland:
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Juniper berry (Juniperus communis)
Elder (Sambucus nigra)
Rose-hips from the wild Dog-rose (Rosa canina)
All incense and colour-field ingredients were either wild gathered by the author or sourced ethically and sustainably.
